Theater Experience

Savannah College of Art and Design presents The Crucible

For The Crucible, I worked as an Electrician, helping install and prepare the lighting system for the production. My responsibilities included hanging and focusing fixtures according to the lighting plot, running power and DMX data cabling, and assisting with circuiting and system setup.

This experience strengthened my skills in reading lighting paperwork, safely installing theatrical lighting equipment, cable management, DMX distribution, and working efficiently as part of a lighting crew.

Drafting For Theater

For this production of RENT, I created the lighting drafting and documentation package, using Vectorworks to translate the lighting design into clear technical drawings for installation and execution.

I also developed Lightwright paperwork and magic sheets to organize fixture information and provide clear references for programming and operation.

This project strengthened my skills in Vectorworks, Lightwright, lighting documentation, plot organization, and creating industry standard lighting paperwork.
